Cool Spring Farm is a family-owned farm nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Clarke County, Virginia.
With ranching roots beginning in Oklahoma during the Great Land Rush of 1889, the Cassidy family has been growing high-quality, grass-fed beef on this farm for generations. Our premium Angus beef is raised the same way it was 100 years ago, without the use of antibiotics, artificial growth hormones, or toxic chemicals.
You can purchase a side beef that is aged, processed, and ready for your freezer.
Fill out the contact information sheet and send a deposit of $300 per side. For your convenience, we accept payments through cash, check, or credit card. There is usually a 2-3 month time lag between placing your order and picking up your beef.
Your beef will be delivered to the processing plant, and at that time we can determine the weight of the side. Price is based on the weight times $3.40 per pound which will be paid to Cool Spring Farm at that time.
Sides are usually in the range of 275-375 lbs. The processing charges are about $1 per lb. and are paid directly to the processor, when you pick up your beef.
